The Manawatu Wheelchair Rugby Club is a non-profit organisation operated by and for wheelchair rugby players in the Manawatu. The club is a member of the New Zealand Wheelchair Rugby Association

The club practices weekly during the season, and participates in games & tournaments.

Tough semi-final against Auckland (white)

20 July, 2008

Manawatu conceded the game after a tough battle against the Auckland (white) team. The game ended 33-20. This sees Auckland (white) playing against Auckland (blue) in the finals.

Manawatu wins against Wellington - secures place in semi-finals

19 July, 2008

Manawatu won against Wellington at the 3rd round of the New Zealand 2008 Wheelchair Rugby Tournament, securing a place in the semi-finals to be held on Sunday 19 July. They won 58-38.
